Rosengarten - Cafe, Restaurant & Elbterrassen in Dresden

Kitchen only mostly good. Hygiene "wrong" in every respect. Not a single Corona recommendation by the host and most of the guests observed. I wish everyone health!

It tasted very good at Francesco's. Very nice service and the boss personally gave a herb from Sicily.

Wonderful spot in Dresden. The location with a view of roses and fountains gives you that holiday feeling right in the middle of everyday life. The kitchen cooks delicious and flexibly fulfills special requests. The service is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we had to wait longer due to a closed society. It was doubly nice that this time was made more enjoyable with a Prosecco at home expense. Many thanks for the hospitality.

I haven't seen such unfriendly and bored staff in a long time. A shame, because the location itself is actually quite nice and you could really spend a nice day / afternoon / evening there with an appropriately friendly staff. Our tablecloth was also dirty and we repeatedly had the feeling that we were undesirable. This was my first and last visit. I hope the staff just had a bad day and is otherwise more service minded ...

Enjoyed a fine lunch in this Italian restaurant. Delicious on the terrace in the rose garden along the Elbe. From the center you have to walk for it.

Great kitchen and a warm though professional service

Ice cream tasty and inexpensive. Hot drinks (here espresso doppio) are expensive and taste average. Service can still be improved.

Nicely located café and restaurant directly on the Elbe. The cake selection is manageable, but the cake is delicious. The Italian food is also recommended.

Completely overwhelmed team. We were there as a group of 25 people. Food and drinks were a long time coming. Some got the main courses, while others didn't even have the starters. We waited almost an hour for our wine and beer in midsummer temperatures. The prices are also steep ... a shame.

Very good food and a very cheerful restaurant manager gave us a very nice evening. There is a deduction for the somewhat "opaque" calculation of coperto, prosecco and farewell schnapps and the hygiene concept of the restaurant, which I couldn't understand, because no one of the waitresses wore a mask. A shame, but otherwise one of the best Italians in Dresden.

It's beautiful in the rose garden. Drinking an iced coffee at the fountain and looking out into the garden is nice.

Directly on the Elberadweg. Beer garden very inviting in summer. Play opportunities for children. Culinary and from the qualification of the service still room for improvement. Order not taken correctly, then forget pizza burned. The location of course makes up for a lot.

The nice thing about the rose garden are the location and the ambience. But that's about it. I am here for the third time and disappointed for the third time. For a price of 28 €, the range of dishes at the break is more than poor and the taste is nothing special. The butter had expired, and there was only a weary smile in response to the hint. We were 11 people, reserved for 13 (including 2 babies, which the waitress didn't want to know anymore). In any case, we still had to pay a cancellation fee of € 10 per person. The cutlery was partly dirty, there was short hair in the food. The waiters responsible for us were unprofessional in their behavior. The toilets were clean, but the toilet paper rolls hung on the handle of the toilet brush - very unappetizing.

Cafe restaurant near the river, nice view, delicious drinks, good service

Very well attended and large café in the rose garden on the banks of the Elbe in Dresden. Good food and a variety of wonderfully chilled drinks make your stay a pleasure. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A fountain on the edge of the outdoor area creates a pleasant climate on hot days.

Everything is a treat for palate lovers. The portions are in a good and filling league. The decoration on the seats and in the entire restaurant is sensible and aesthetic. The toilet is constantly clean and all in all the rose garden gives a nice impression. I will certainly be happy to come back with my relatives and can rely on the fact that I am being looked after flawlessly. I can only recommend this!

It should be a nice end to our anniversary. Unfortunately the menu at the entrance was out of date, so that some dishes were no longer available. The prices were therefore no longer up to date. The younger waiter was very friendly and tried to ask a colleague whether there was still a salmon dish, but had to correct himself several times. The older waiter gave us 2 other fish dishes, which were not on the new menu either, but then became very outrageous when we wanted to know the side dishes for the two fish dishes of the day. We received "4 star hotel incl. Flight" as an answer "and he could open the showcase because he no longer has a key. Then he described the dish in a cheeky and excessive manner. I left him know that I find him naughty, whereupon he made us understand that we could go, which of course we did. Since this restaurant does not place a high value on service and is so negatively reacted to friendly inquiries, we cannot recommend it .

Excellent service, excellent pasta. Great people.

Our waitress was quite impolite and served our food just to the corner of our table so that we had to arrange it ourselves. She mentioned that they don’t have strawberry’s on stock and in exchange I’ve got some nearly rotten peaches. The other staff members seemed much more determined to provide a good service. Probably she was mad because we didn’t chose the closest table to the rest. Unfortunately we have kids who wanted to use the restaurants playground next to the table we had picked.

The Service and quality of cake /ice cream show room for improvements. The location in the beautiful Rosengarten close to the river Elbe is great.. Will try again next year .

The cafe had a nice variety of options to choose from and they were decently prices. It has a really nice view, right next to the river. Comfortable seats and delicious food/drinks. Would recommend.

The restaurant is beautifully situated next to the Elbe and the rose garden. There are many outdoor seating options, including a mini playground. We only went for a drink. Unfortunately, the service needed 15 minutes before they had taken our order, with only 2 other tables were occupied. The Chai Latte is unfortunately not recommended, too strong and way too sweet.

Nice place good food

A very nice Italian ambience that convinces from inside and out. A nice and small restaurant which tastes delicious and you can tell it's freshly cooked, baked. Always worth a little trip.

Chilling place, best for families and dates :)

A little pricey for Dresden but good service and large choice makes it worth a trip. A walk near by after dinner a must :)

Place is fantastic. We were for brunch. Plan a lot of time, as the brunch is served in batches (first cold dishes and after 12 warm dishes). Service could be better. Food is nice.

We wanted a vegan pizza and they modified one of the existing ones for us . They did a great job! And the homemade Limonade was great too

I enjoyed taking a Drink there After rollerskating with a Friend. This was just before a theory Exam in the Paramedics. I recommend the place.
